• It is a truth universally acknowledged, that when Mark Zuckerberg moves a finger the tech world have to stare at him with awe, ecstatic. This time it is for the long anticipated Facebook email system, presumably Google-killer and most notably THE destroyer of worlds.

More importantly do we really need an other email provider ? Great emphasis have been made about its new filter solution that could lead to no-more than the end of spam ...
How do you control spam? You can set it to only get email from your friends. Hah! No more PR email. :-)
Read : "Facebook Upgrades E-Mail To A ‘Modern Messaging System" by Wired.com I really doubt it will be the case unless you rethink all your Facebook connections from the start (which will take a lot of time ). For example waiting myself for this new email services I wanted to clean my messy inbox. The only problem is that I have 1249 unread messages and there is no option for mass-deletion right now. Maybe the released product will have it but most people are talking about a product they haven't tested yet. Plus I really think that they should fix some existing issues and stay more focus instead of aiming at the world domination . • Fortunately not everyone have joined this concert of praises, for "The Next Web" Facebook has just reinvented the power of meh ... Other are just waiting for Facebook to issue existing nuisance problems ...
why didn't facebook work on event spam before trying to tackle email? this is ridiculous!
